Grand Slam tournaments are the ones that gives the most points and of course the most money. They are the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and of course the US Open. The first grand slam that was held was Roland Garros which was in 2000 with the winner being Selima Beckford-Valentine beating Neve Wunch 6-4 7-6.
